Mezzanine Floor Upgrade – Diamond Plate Steel Installation

Star State Welding completed a mezzanine floor upgrade for an active industrial facility, installing 3/16” diamond plate steel to improve traction, durability, and overall worker safety. This project was designed to enhance slip resistance in a high-traffic area while reinforcing the structural performance of the existing mezzanine platform.

To prevent disruption to daily operations, our team executed the installation in scheduled shifts, allowing the facility to maintain full workflow throughout the duration of the project. This approach ensured minimal downtime while still delivering efficient, high-quality results.

All diamond plate sections were precisely fit, installed, and fully welded at the seams to create a solid, continuous surface. Welding was performed using a combination of stick welding and dual shield flux core welding, providing strong, dependable welds suited for industrial flooring systems, heavy-use mezzanines, and structural steel applications.
